LITIGATION AND COMMERCIAL LAW
This range of services is focused on resolving legal disputes and representing clients in various legal matters. It includes building, engineering, and construction disputes; contractual and commercial litigation; defamation and damages claims; as well as personal injury and housing disputes. Senior Associate Michael Ferreira, supported by Jenna Beckett, provides expert legal representation in High Court and Magistrate’s Court claims, and specializes in human rights, social welfare legislation, and third-party motor vehicle accident claims.
PROPERTY LAW AND CONVEYANCING
Services include providing general property advice, managing contracts of sale, donation, and exchange, and facilitating residential and commercial property transactions. The department also deals with mortgage bonds, land subdivisions, township and sectional title developments, lease agreements, and municipal transfers, including low-cost housing schemes. Additionally, they handle the structuring of share block and sectional title schemes, and provide notarial services.
DECEASED ESTATES AND COLLECTIONS
Specialized services in the administration of deceased estates, such as drafting wills, creating and managing trusts, and estate planning. This department focuses on financial and asset-related services including debtor and asset tracing, credit risk assessments, and general collections. They manage High Court and Magistrate’s Court claims, sales in execution, evictions, and asset repossessions, along with perfection of notarial bonds and administration orders and applications.
